I am grateful for my soreness, as it is a sign that I am growing.
Growth doesn't always feel smooth and empowering; most of the time, it feels like death.
The death of your former self — not pleasant, extremely uncomfortable, and at times, unbearable.
The intuitive person often wonders why we’re on the path we’re on, and why we experience the things we do… why we have to go through hardship, suffering, and seasons of pain that feel almost unbearable at times.
But when you realize that everything in this world is meant to be — that nothing happens by coincidence — and that your fears and obstacles exist solely for you to transcend them, to build the strength, skills, and awareness necessary to become your highest-functioning self in the process, that feeling of death becomes beautiful.
Not pleasant by any means, but beautiful — because you understand that your growth is like a flower that blooms in spring: beautiful blossoms at times, then slowly withers apart and dies, going through winters.
But if you continue forward consciously and courageously, you will bloom again over the course of your life, season by season. As you grow, your flower becomes more beautiful, more magnificent with every death of its past self.
There is no life without death in this world.
The people who don't grow, who stay stagnant in life — those people may be physically alive, but they are dead. Their flower is more akin to a fake plant you buy at home deco stores. It never withers. It never sheds its blossoms. But it is absolutely still; it is plastic, and it is absent of life-force energy.
These people have a somewhat gray aura. It can easily be brought to life, almost in an instant, but death is essential for this to occur.
Death is essential for life and growth. But the lack of growth is metaphorical death.
